Ah... duh.
I’m pretty sure the people who built it also knew absolutely nothing about Land Rover electrics, so you should be in the clear.

It couldn’t be that bad of an idea. Assuming you can get cheap parts from forums, ebay, aftermarket companies, etc. Personally I’m really looking at getting an old European car as a sort of project car, in the near future. Not something to build, per say, but to maintain.

Nah, the electronics aren’t that bad. You just need the RAVE manual (free PDF) and a volt meter.
